The Jordi Comas Matamala Foundation and the Club Golf d’Aro Mas Nou have signed a collaboration agreement. The agreement aims to strengthen the dissemination of initiatives that contribute to the development of a more efficient, sustainable and committed to the Costa Brava tourism.
The president of the Jordi Comas Matamala Foundation, Carme Hospital i Poch, and the manager of the Club Golf d’Aro Mas Nou, Rocío Aranda Reyes, have signed the agreement in Platja d’Aro.
Through this agreement, Club Golf d’Aro Mas Nou will support the dissemination of the activities promoted by the Foundation throughout the year. These actions encourage reflection, planning and the creation of tourism thinking aimed at the excellence of the destination. Among the main initiatives are the Jordi Comas Memorial, the T Awards for Tourism, Territory and Transversality, the speakers’ tribunes, the TTS debate sessions and the Jordi Comas Research Award.
For its part, the Jordi Comas Matamala Foundation will give visibility among its collaborators and friends to the actions of the Club Golf d’Aro Mas Nou. These initiatives are focused on golf, the promotion of sports tourism and the projection of the Costa Brava. Both entities will jointly select those proposals of greatest interest, thus strengthening a relationship based on cooperation and social responsibility.
This agreement reflects the shared will of both institutions to work together to strengthen tourism in the Costa Brava. The aim is to consolidate it as the main economic and social engine of the region, promoting values such as sustainability, training and transversality. The collaboration is also aligned with major international events that will mark the future of golf, such as the Ryder Cup in 2031.
