Golf de Pals renews its corporate identity

Golf de Palsthe oldest golf course on the Costa Brava with more than 50 years of history, has decided to renew its brand identity, seeking simplicity and giving prominence to the most emblematic and representative symbol of golf, the centenary Mediterranean pines that are found throughout the golf course.

Golf de Pals was built in the middle of the Arenals de Mar estate, on dunes covered by an immense pine forest planted seventy years ago. After two years under the project and the direction of the British designer Fred Hawetree, the first 9 holes of Golf de Pals were opened in the summer of 1966. In 1970 the regulation 18 holes were officially inaugurated with the celebration of the Spanish International Amateur Championship. Only two years later, Golf de Pals hosted the Spanish Open, the first event of the PGA Professional Tour in Europe, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

During its more than 50 years of history, Golf de Pals has hosted important professional and amateur events under the watchful eye of its centenary pine trees, which is why it has been decided that these centenary Mediterranean pines will be the symbol of the identity of Golf de Pals.

For this reason, the superfluous is set aside and the essential is given value.
