Once you arrive at Club Golf d’Aro – Mas Nou, you will notice the relaxed atmosphere of the Club.
The golf course was designed in 1990 by the prestigious architect Ramón Espinosa. In 1992 it received the award for the best golf course in Europe. It is currently considered one of the best courses on the Costa Brava.
Club Golf d’Aro – Mas Nou is located in an exclusive enclave. On one side, the picture-postcard beaches of Platja d’Aro, Sa Conca, S’Agaró, Palamós, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, … and on the other side, les Gavarres Park. Charming corners that make up one of the most splendid and emblematic landscapes in the Mediterranean.
The golf course is surrounded by mountain cliffs that melt into the natural environment. A truly unique experience and a complete break for golfers, just 15 minutes from the sea.
1990 «Open Martini PGA»
The following professional golf players stand out: Miguel A. Jiménez, Fernando Roca, Joan Anglada, José M. Carriles and the winner Santiago Luna.
1992 «Open Catalonia»
The following professional golf players were present: José M. Olazabal, José M. Cañizares, Sam Torrance, Darren Clarke, Jesper Parnevick, J. Van de Velde and M. Sunesson. The winner was José Rivero.
2006 «Catalonia Ladies Master»
Scoring event for the European Ladies Tour. There were 28 players in the Top ranking, 30 from the European Ladies Tour and seven Spanish players: Tania Elosegui, Elisa Serramia, Ana Belén Sánchez, Marta Prieto, Laura Cabanillas, Carmen Alonso and Marina Arruti. The French player, Gladys Nocera, was the winner of the event.
2015 «Campionato de España Sub-18 Stroke Play»
Qualifying event for the R & A World Amateur Golf Ranking. Clear dominance of the Nordic golfers, who won the first three positions. The winner was the Swedish Alexander George Frances.
Reception – pro shop
The Reception, currently located in the Pro Shop, manages customers’ game reservations, as well as the rest of the services: club rental, electric car, motorbike, electric trolley… The Pro Shop, located next to the driving range, offers our customers golf equipment and clothing from the best brands on the market, among others: Footjoy, Titleist, Under Armour, Srixon, J.Lindeberg…
Pitch & Putt
A course aimed at all types of players and ideal to introduce them to this fantastic sport. Here you can start your career as a golfer, improve your game or simply share a healthy and happy day with friends. The course has 9 holes with a first round of 825m and a second round of 763m for a total of 1588m. Holes 6, 9 and 18 are the longest with 116m.
Caddy Master
We offer our players the possibility of storing their club bags in our Caddy Master. Rental of lockers for club bags and electric trolleys.
Buggies and motorbikes
Enlighten your game and the course by renting one of our buggies. We have a large fleet of vehicles availables our players, including scooters for individual use.
Electric and manual trolleys
For a more enjoyable golf round, we have a variety of electric and manual trolleys for our players.
Driving range
Our driving range is 340 m long and 200 m wide. Located very close to the Club House and the Pro Shop, it has 10 covered tees and 27 uncovered tees.
GOLF ACADEMY D’ARO
The Aro Golf Academy is run by Joan Anglada, Ildefonso Torrado and Pedro Martínez, a team of highly experienced and talented professionals. Who provide training courses, in the different languages, for players of all levels and ages, from beginners to amateurs who, surrounded by a privileged natural environment, will have the opportunity to improve their skills as golfers.
GASTRONOMY
Our Restaurant Forat 19, under the management of Javier and Ana, offers our customers a meeting place with a homely and pleasant treatment. Located next to hole 18th, is an essential stop at the end of the game, for both players and food lovers. Chef Ana delights us with a traditional and varied cuisine based on top quality and local produce. Always with a twist to Andalusia that our chef from Cádiz brings to her dishes.
